Torchy Marcellus Peden! Brigitte’s dog knows he’s in trouble when he gets called by all three names. A hole in Brigitte’s garage door is too tempting for a neighbourhood skunk, and Torchy, to resist. The result is a smelly mess and some new garage doors. Luckily, Brigitte knows the secret to cleaning up a skunked pet and soon Torchy smells fresh enough to enjoy one of his favourite pastimes. Like his namesake, gold medal cyclist, William “Torchy” Peden, Torchy loves nothing more than a good bike ride. (Well, running alongside the bike, at least.) And this time Brigitte has an extra special bike for the excursion. In exchange for some help with the commencement speech at his alma mater, Anthony helps Brigitte repair a replica of her childhood bike. Together Brigitte and Anthony rediscover that life (and bikes) should never be dull, boring or meaningless. Life (and bikes) should excite you, inspire you and, most importantly, be uniquely yours.
