Okay, so skunks aren’t ALL bad. They eat some of those garden insects that destroy your plants. But that doesn’t make an unfortunate encounter with one any more pleasant.

DON’T turn your pet into a horror movie mess by using tomato juice. This solution is cleaner and easy to use.

Skunked!
Tomato Juice works to neutralize skunk odour because it is acidic while the skunk musk is alkaline. They cancel each other out. But there’s no need to turn your bathroom, or your pet, red. Try this:
- 1 quart peroxide
- 1 / 2 cup baking soda
- 2 tbsps. dishwashing detergent (any kind)
Mix together in a bucket and apply to your pet. Rinse well. Do the sniff test and repeat if necessary.
