Brigitte has much wisdom to impart on the journey from “girlie girl to woman carpenter.” Listen and learn.
  1. Always wear eye protection. (see fig. A)
  2. Every good workshop needs a coffeemaker.
  3. Wear steel-toed footwear. (see fig. B)

  4. A beer fridge is also an excellent addition to a workshop. (see fig. C)
  5. Don’t wear loose clothing or buttons that can get caught in woodworking machinery.

    Fig. C
  6. A big comfy chair is a definite requirement. You need it to watch the woodworking videos - on your workshop TV.
  7. The final thing you need to earn your “woman carpenter” tool belt – a really good moisturizer.
