According to Brigitte, favours are like underwear; they come in sizes S, M and L. Small favours don’t need to be repaid. But medium and large? Oh yeah. When Brigitte’s friends come calling to ask a favour, they also drop hints about changes needed on Brigitte’s house. These favours add up to a lot of work! At the end of the day Brigitte has new mortar in her stonework, new front steps and a new roof over her front porch. But it’s all worth it when she gets a ride in Alana’s convertible, wearing Robin’s new leather jacket and boots with Tammy’s dog keeping Torchy company in the back seat. And her friends? Oh, they’re back at home working on their houses.
