Brigitte is a bridesmaid for her cousin Amanda. As her gift, she is also hosting the wedding in her back yard. Brigitte surveys her yard, envisioning a simple yet elegant décor. Perhaps small branches painted white with sparkles and fairy lights. And grape vines wound with English Ivy. And the ugly white wall… the ugly white wall has got to go! A glass block wall is the perfect idea. But Brigitte’s plan for simple elegance doesn’t fit with Amanda’s idea of wedding perfection. The bridesmaid dresses? Not simple OR elegant. The cake? Amanda wants a multi-tiered fiasco. Brigitte pours out her troubles to Anthony as they construct the new glass block wall. Anthony gently reminds Brigitte that gifts can’t be conditional then reveals yet another talent. He’s a whiz with a mortar bag AND an icing bag. Anthony’s simple yet elegant wedding cake is the perfect finishing touch to Amanda’s perfect wedding day.
