Sometimes we just have to look at old stuff with a new eye to see its potential. Brigitte turned an old electric chandelier into an attractive outdoor candle feature.
Everything Old is New Again
Remove the electrical wiring and the chain from the chandelier. (see fig. A)
Remove the light sockets at the end of each arm of the chandelier so that you are left with the flat surfaces below. This is where the candles will sit. (see fig. B)

Use a rustproof metal spray paint to cover the chandelier with the colour of your choice. Brigitte chose classic black. (see fig. C)
When the paint is thoroughly dry, attach a black chain to the top of the chandelier and hang in the desired location.
Place tea lights on the flat ends of the chandelier and light. (see fig. D)
Beautiful and simple. Simply beautiful.
